French wines, Breton ciders and honey onboard. CO2-free certified delivery by sail power.
The “Grayhound” lugger has set sail last night from Brittany, loaded with muscadet wines as well as other Breton products such as cider and honey.
Following the first wine crossing in May, the Grayhound sailed at the beginning of August to Brittany to deliver Cornwall and Devon real ales.
Moored in central Nantes from Aug. 9th to the 11th, the Cornish lugger has delivered about a tonne of British specialties in France and loaded 5 tonnes of organic muscadet bound for British customers.
Sailing down last week’s Northeasterlies out of the Biscay, the sailing ship partly offloaded the muscadet in Douarnenez TOWT’s warehouse, from which she also loaded sail-transported Bordeaux wines, Melenig Breton Cornwall ciders and Armorique honey.
Schedule:
The Grayhound is expected in Falmouth tonight.
The offloading is scheduled tomorrow afternoon. For more information and booking : presse@towt.eu
